Our first workshop will take place on the 8th of May 2018 in the village of Ban Khun Samut Chin. The aim of this workshop is to bring together a range of stakeholders who are living and/or involved in managing the Upper Gulf coastal area.
During this workshop we will focus on:
Discussing and exploring interdisciplinary perspectives on the conditions of coastal erosion and transformation in the Upper Gulf of Thailand.
Facilitating in-depth engagement with local partners and individuals living on the coast. We will work with local Thai community-based arts practitioners to develop an engagement programme designed to capture the stories and experiences of local residents, and to understand the actions they are already taking to build community resilience and adapt to coastal changes.
